This tutorial explains how to transfer contacts from iPhone to iPhone using iCloud.
On your old iPhone:
- Open Settings
- Check if both iPhones are connected with Wifi
- Tap your Apple ID (If you are not signed in, tap Sign in to, enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Sign in)
- Tap iCloud
- Slide Contacts to the On position
- Scroll down and tap iCloud Backup (If it’s not already green, slide iCloud Backup to On
- Tap Back Up Now
- Now, your iPhone is backing up your Contacts to the iCloud
On your new iPhone:
- Open Settings
- Tap your Apple ID (If you are not signed in, tap Sign in to, enter your Apple ID and password, then tap Sign in)
- Tap iCloud
- Slide Contacts to the On position
- Press the Home button
- Open Contacts
- Swipe down from the middle of your screen and hold until you see spinning Refresh icon above the contacs list
- The contacts from your old iPhone should now be available on your new iPhone
